Wills
-
Your Will allows you to decide how your assets will be distributed upon your passing. Without a proper will, the distribution of your assets could be determined by Provincial legislation.
Personal Directives
-
Often referred to as a "living Will", a Personal Directive allows you to appoint someone close to you who will make decisions related to your personal matters, such as health care, in the event that you are no longer able to make decisions for yourself.
Powers of Attorney
-
A Power of Attorney allows you to appoint a representative, or "attorney", to make financial decisions on your behalf, should you become unable to make those decisions for yourself.
